Churches Together

Churches Together in Faversham helps and encourages the Churches in Faversham to work more closely together in their work and witness.

Local churches have formed themselves into an ecumenical group where local Christians engage in a wide variety of activities together – meeting for worship, discussion, prayer and practical service in the community.

Representatives from each church in the town form a committee that meets regularly to plan various activities in the town including the Walk of Witness on Good Friday, the Lenten Lunches each Friday during Lent (from which money is raised for Christian Aid projects) and Carols in the Market at Christmas. There are various other Ecumenical Services and events throughout the year.
